What does it have to do with Windows 10, did you not read the description I put up there ?

Why would you waste space on your pc with a useless update you don`t need. ?

Last time I checked they use the dollar in Texas.

Both of my computers got attack by KB3102429 last update.

No big deal. Just hide them again.

Microsoft has no way of knowing who wants or don't want (Azerbaijani Manat and Georgian Lari currency symbols) so it will offer it again.

Will KB3102429 hurt you system? I really don't know. I haven't let it on my systems.
All I know is I don't need to worry about (Azerbaijani Manat and Georgian Lari currency symbols) where I live.

    @ Max

I don't put fishing worms in my freezer. They wouldn't hurt anything being there.
They just don't belong there and I don't have a need for fishing worms in my freezer.

KB3102429 doesn't belong on my computers and I don't have a need for it.

Why is it a big deal if Max installs an update? It's his computer.

Personally I don't care what anybody installs on their computer.

I think my post was precise enough to indicate why I didn't and won't install KB3102429.

It was to answer this question from maxseven in post #10 (Why not? No big deal just some symbols.)

Why not? No big deal just some symbols. But if I ignore the update ie. hide it, then weeks/months/years from now I keep finding it in Hidden Updates and wonder what it is. OTOH if I install it, it is gone forever except for the note I made in my PC's Diary.

To not install a simple update like this because one is paranoid about W10...well I guess that does fall under the definition doesn't it.
Derek if you have any more question of me I will do my best to answer them.

Yeah, I don't see the big deal myself. He said why he did right there in the post you quoted.

I believe his why not? was rhetorical.

Could be rhetorical. I have no way of knowing from behind my keyboard.

You guys are funny. Yes, it's my computer--I prefer not to hide updates unless there's a bloody good reason for it. And in fact I have zero hidden updates on any of my computers, though I also use WSUS and have declined maybe one or two over the years.

Subject one is certainly innocuous enough IMO; certainly not worth this bandwidth, though again I hope the OP realizes MS just issued it twice. It's not like there's anything wrong with his/her PC.

I could understand them pushing the Windows 10 updates, but why would I need the symbol for Azeri? Manat on my PC???
It's times like these it's best to focus on the question at hand :)
