    Persistant, aren't they

Today I switched on Windows 7 on a computer that I don't use very often, I have far too many, only one of my pc's gets used regularly. There were about 19 updates offered. Looking through them, I weeded out KB3035583 and KB2952664. After installing the remainder, I had a look through the installed updates, and found:

    12 April 2015
    21 May 2015
    13 July 2015
    14 October 2015
All KB 3035583, that's 5 hits at least.

No, both updates are once again on offer, and after hiding 3035583 the other week, I have just hidden both of them.

    Hello tinmar, :)

If you like, there's no need to hide the update if you disable the "upgrade to Windows 10" update.

    Hi,
Agreed no need to hide them them they are updated almost every month :)
Kind of wondering why you're even looking in the Optional section :/

Focus on the real Important updates not the recommended/ optional ones

Agree with Thrash, I used to hide both updates but they've both been reissued more than 10 times. I just leave them sitting in the Optional Section now as it gets tedious hiding the same updates over and over.
As long as I have the security updates installed, I'm a happy camper.
