    Windows 10 Update "Removal"

    Hi guys, I'm back again..

Awhile ago I got rid of all the Window 10 updates. All was well until the motherboard let go..Computer sat on the shelve for a couple of months..

Yesterday I installed a new motherboard, machine ran fine, today all I get is windows 10 updates and when I click install Win. 10 starts downloading..

I do not want Win. 10 on this machine..

    I have a Dell Inspiron 537s O/S is Windows 7

Need some help in stopping this again..I did install the Program Disable upgrade to Win.10 update, I see the file is still in from before..

    Thanks

    Ron..

I have no clue what I have done. I lost the entire group of updates I did have, when I click on for updates, it just scans and nothing shows..

No more problems. I have gave in and installed Windows 10.. I am happy the way it installed, took about 3 hours or so, but went in without a hitch, and is working pretty darn good..

So now I'll go bug the guy's in the Windows 10 forum.

Oh well I suppose it's your choice and I suppose you can always use the Classic Shell software to make it look like 7 Classic Shell - Start menu and other Windows enhancements and we might see you back in the future

Well thats good at least you have a backstop.

Mate I have tried 10 and found it to be almost as convoluted as 8 with those wretched panels they seem intent on keeping. To be honest I think it is the end of computing as we knew it because it seems that those people have taken a leaf out of the hackers book and are using ways of making us use what they want us to for no better reason than to raise revenue. Pretty sad the way that it has gone from being a pleasurable experience to one of suspicion and distrust.

Like I might have mentioned a I have a few times just lately Linux seems to be the only alternative at least I know they are not out for the money - well only if one wants to donate and I cannot see a problem with that and if one donated $25-50 still a bargain.

I follow you, with all the hand held devices like the phones and tablets computers will be a things of the past..Me I like the huge montitors not the dingie little phone screen or the tablet where you can't see or do anything.
