Optional Updates - Should They Be Installed?

    Hi,

I'm running Win 7 Pro x64 without Win 10 upgrade updates. I would like to know if the following optional updates should be installed. I used to install all updates until MS started forcing the Win 10 upgrade updates and optional updates that caused problems like SFC errors.

    KB3118401 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401

    KB3121255 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3121255

    KB3133977 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3133977

    KB3137061 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3137061

    KB3138901 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3138901

    KB3139923 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3139923

I've got the following updates hidden:

    KB2952664
    KB3021917
    KB3035583
    KB3068708
    KB3075249
    KB3080149
    KB3102429
    KB3123862

I don't install this stuff. In fact I don't install any updates as long as my system is running perfetly. Any change in my code carries the risk of new bugs. Why expose myself to that.

I install updates according to advice in various places as well as my own knowledge and instincts. All the updates in your first list are hidden on both my machines.

    Hi
These are the ones I actually skipped installing
There is one you posted about Remote desktop
If you have other related Remote desktop updates that one might be okay to install :/
I believe I did install this C runtime update

This is from a home premium so the bitlocker one I doubt would be offered
