    Hi,
Yea if things stall just install net 4.5.2 and the newest update client.

The latest rounds of updates for April and May have another work around to get them to appear
You just have to see if these 2 updates have already installed if not manually install them

    Hi,

    1. Even if things don't stall, understand not installing new update agent is fine, but you still don't recommend installing .NET 4.5.2 all its 12 associated?

    2. The 2 updates you posted, to check in important, if not to install manually, and at which step?

    Thanks.

    Edit:

The 2 kerenel frameworks updates in recommended, required after important ones..correct?

    Hi,
Yes after installing net you would install it's updates that are offered,

The other 2 manual installs would come after net 4.5.2
In the order of the last post i made.

    Hi,

By other 2 manual you mean the 2 you posted OR the 2 framework ones?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
There is only 1 net update above
First step is to set windows update settings to Never check for updates this is required before you manually install an update or manually install a update client

Forget about net Important updates until these are installed too
    KB3145739
    KB3153199

After the above switch you setting back to Check for updates but let me.....
    Then manually check for updates.
    See what comes up.

    Hi,

Just to simplify, these 2 updates need to be installed, even if check for updates doesn't freeze or gets stuck.. Correct?

I meant .NET 4.5.2 and its associated 12 and the 2 frameworks ones after all important updates are installed.

    Thanks again.

Hi, a question to clear my confusion, before I start the update process.

    1. Install all important.

    2. Install in recommended, .NET 4.5.2 and its associated 12 important.

    3. Install 2 framework updates in recommended.

    4. Lastly install the 2 mentioned, if not already present, even if check for updates is ruining fine..correct?

    Thanks again.

Hi and thanks for the posting the link.

    1. Why am I still receiving the update KB3138612, despite rerun for check for updates, as shown in the screen shot......lap time is correct?

    2. After initial install and some failing, on reinstall get a few updates installed, but for them see a yellow icon on shut down, displaying shut down to install this/these updates......is that normal.....even a reboot doesn't help.....any method for them not requiring a shut down but a normal install?

    3. After the 1st install on reinstall for failed and rest of the updates, at times won't display % downloading etc., for some updates (not for all) is that normal too?

Hoping to hear your expert view.

    Best regards!
