    Hi,
This should of been manually installed with your update settings set at Never check for updates first
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3138612

    This is from April 2015
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3020369

You can always use Brink's updates reset option 3 again

    Thanks,

I got 23 failed and 1 cancelled till now, probably cause I forgot to uncheck KB3020369 before 1st install.....could this be a reason for the last update appearing?

These 2 updates to be manually installed, after activation and before checking for updates for the 1st time?

Hoping to hear from you, before a reinstall.

    Beat regards.

Thanks, to clarify, order before another reinstall.

    1. KB3020369 for April 2015.

    2. Than update client KB3138612.

    Logic behind these 2?

Both after activation and before running for updates, with settings Never to check, with internet connection....correct?

    3. What's with the Brink's option 3....it's purpose?

    Thanks again.

    Hi,
Option 3 is to possibly clear the updates from being offered or to at least start fresh with the search for updates

In a normal world you wouldn't have to do anything with the 1 update and only install the latest update client after installing all the Important updates
But as we have seen you are not in a normal world :)
Reinstalled twice, but Windows still won't update

Both installed without issues, 1st the KB3020369 and than KB3138612, with never to check, now asking to restart, should I change settings now or after a restart?

    Thanks.

    Edit:

I shouldn't have installed KB3020369, it wasn't needed? If it is offered again should I hide it?

    Hi, didn't really understand.....

    1. On recheck still see this 3.6 MB update.....what should I do?

    2. Did I do wrong to install KB3020369, should have only installed KB3138612?

    Thanks.
