    Hi,

I haven't installed the next batch of 32 MS Off updates, cause of the confusion about the 1st 2.....shall wait for your expert reply OR if Derek can chime in.

    Best regards!

    Hi,
Those two for Office 2010 are weird
I don't have them I'm not sure what to say
Right click each one and select Hide.

Show the Optional updates you have offered too.

A post from Derek about the office 2010 update ?
Like I said unless that update is replaced by another I do not show it installed so it is still weird to me :)
Why is MS offering an Update for Office 2010 if one does not have it

    Hi,

Thanks for replying. I agree it's weird, since don't have MS Off 2010, but 2007.........

Attaching screen shot for your expert views, of 32 optional updates, 20 are for W7, 10 for MS Off 07, and 2 rest.

    Best regards!

    Hi,
Yep I did load the optional office updates so they should be fine along with the Important ones

    How is everything working ?

    Hi,

You mean to install all 32 important and 10 optional MS updates, including the 2 for Off 2010?

In Device manger I see 2 yellow icons next to base devices. For them I need to install Dell specific Oc2 micron drivers. And Intel pro wireless, though that doesn't have a yellow one.

    Best regards!

I'm confused, that should I install all 32 important Off updates including the 1st 2......do I really need the 10 optional ones too?

    Thanks again.

    Hi,
yes install all the Important ones first,
Then the office optional ones last

Can you show the driver listings as the tutorial shows.
I might message Derek he is much better at locating drivers stuff.

    Hi,

Shouldn't I install 30 of 32 important and than rerun check for updates?

    Again are optional required?

Apologize for my ignorance, seems weird to install update for Off 2010.

    Best regards!

    Hi,
    Yes very weird indeed :)
You can try to exclude the 2 2010 related ones and see what happens
The Optional ones are classified that way for a reason so yes you can skip them too :)
I pretty much skipped these I think I posted it already

Should I install the 10 optional ones for Office?

    Best regards!
