Can you run this and post the file it creates, it will give the hardware ID's so we can find the drivers,

Is your laptop an M1710? That's all I get from that info in your specs.

Here Derek, for your expert recommendations.
Thanks and best regards!
Here you go, they are both the card reader,
Ricoh R5C832, R5C843, R5C833, v.1.0.1, A00 Driver Details | Dell US
You can try installing them, they should install fine, if not you may have to use this,
Compatibility Mode
Thanks, yes I recall now, not O2 micron but Ricoh card reader.....Windows one still shows an yellow, but Dell once installed it disappears.
I think the last I installed was one for Vista from Dell site that helped.
A few questions:
1. Do I need to install the 10 Off, optional updates or I can go ahead creating the 2nd back up image?
2. Than install Chrome and other utility soft wares mentioned.
Best regards!
Installed this Ricoh R5C832, R5C843, R5C833, v.1.0.1, A00 Driver Details | Dell US
Its gone.
Thanks and best regards!
Hi ThrahZone,
Care to comment on the following:
4. Than lastly install, G Chrome, and general usage apps like flash, Foxit, 7zip, VLC, Revo, CCleaner, Team viewer, Skype, Freemake video convertor, downloader .....
5. Should CCleaner, reg scan ever be run and fixed for any errors......a hypothetical question?
Best regards!
Thanks, but you got it sorted, by giving your expert advice about Ricoh, at the moment I had assumed it was O2, but recalled while back when installed W7, Dell Ricoh for Vista helped resolve.
Even now while installing it asked if its ok to override over Ricoh already installed....
Thanks again and best regards!
