    Thanks.

The issues I normally face with failed updates are not with IE 11 or 12 .NET 4 x.x. framework updates, they get installed smoothly, but either with 22 odd .NET 3.x.x ones, or cumulative for IE 11 or while installing 124 for W7 security.

Only once all went smoothly with only 1 failed.... I was stupid to redo...

    Best regards.

    Hi,

    Wish I had.........

I got over confident, thought if I got 1 failed update, what the heck assumed that on a redo would get NONE!!

As JT said in an old movie " Assumption is the mother of all fu _ _ ups."

    Best regards!

    Shall keep you posted......

    These 28 failed yesterday.....

Using Brink's bat can install them now, but would give 1 last try....

You know TharshZone what bothers me the most......is installing W7 and the 2 updates rest is easy.....

Sitting watching for 15 mins, each step, clicking yes, typing Product key etc etc...

    Thanks again.

    Edit:

Even tried 2 at a time than when got 1st error with .NET 3.x.x, said to myself despite playing safe and still got an error, than went for 124 W7 security in one go, of them only 109 got installed...errors crossed 20 rather 26...

    Hi,
Well I do see my friend KB3020369 on that list
I'd uncheck all and install that one by it's self and see how it goes

I did say earlier it causes other updates to fail if it's installed with anything else

You could also uncheck just it and try to install the others without KB3020369

    Hi,

Yes I do remember, but never installed it alone, when got 1 error.....

I'd remember to install it alone today......btw when should it be installed, at any step or after IE 11, and .NET 4..x, and before .NET 3.x.x, W7 security and cumulative for IE 11......or it doesn't matter?

Thanks again.......you got a great eye.

    Edit:

I can only cure Cancers but cant install W7......such an irony!!

    Hi,
    No problem :)
Well no you don't need that much money I believe mine was 3200.us but I did assemble it
Probably could of saved a few hundred changing a few items
    Partial build started

    When to install KB3020369
I waited until all the others were installed then install it last
But I installed all of them in one shot and so only KB3020369 was unchecked.

    Hi,

To sum up KB3020369 is the culprit lol, and should be taken care of, since I do in batches vs. all in one go, I'd uncheck it each time and install at the end....does that sound fine to you?

3,500 bucks for such a great machine, I thought would be around 10,

I'd ask you once I have funds around 10, for expert suggestions to make a custom desktop, top of the line, high end like yours!

    Thanks again.

    Hi,
That should be fine installing like you say there :)

You really shouldn't have to pay that much
Shipping to the Island might be a little more but gaming system usually run about 2500-3500.00
No need to pay 10k unless you want 3 of them
