FYI: It was unselected by default after last check yesterday morning (~6AM GMT), but after checking for updates just now it is selected by default.

    This is my situation...

After a few weeks he was marked ready for download. Download it along with other patches (not optional) and when the system is reset to start the second part of the installation I came out the blue screen.
The system rebooted. Asus logo appear, some text, then restart again the system but this time to finishing the installation of patches appears. Loaded all, I get a window indicating find an online solution of the problem, I clicked cancel.

What I can do, I leave it or uninstall it ? :S

Okay it appears that it wasn't a second version that was released. MS decided to make it checked by default after orginally leaving it unchecked.

Extra info was added to KB Article:

    RE: Problems with EMET (Unconfirmed)

With KB3146706 installed - EMET might possibly cause application hangs especially if KB3147071 is also installed. That would "appear" to be what happened on my machine although I can't prove it. An application hang might well cause a BSOD on shutdown.

All I can say is that with KB3146706 installed and KB3147071 removed - I've had no issues with EMET application hangs.

It has been several weeks and did not release the new version of the patch ? :S
I should not have trusted that was marked

Reviewing everything about this patch and possible drawbacks that causes this , I only had a blue screen in the middle of installation of the patches. When I turn off the pc I had no problems , no blue screen. Since yesterday I have not returned to use the computer .

I have not installed EMET and KB3147071.

Edit : Callender, The little I could read the blue screen which lasted a few seconds (3s ) he mentioned something hard disk . One of the problems mentioned in the patch info .
