    Cant get other microsoft updates


    When i click "find out more" in windows update
    I got this
    Attached Thumbnails Attached Thumbnails Cant get other microsoft updates-imageuploadedbyseven-forums1462312090.601192.jpg

    You have to use windows update to get updates for other products.

    Its not similar to me in step 7
    I have IE 11 on in windows features.
    Yes i have office 2010

    Download the Silverlight Installer, install it, you'll then see the option for other MS products restored in Windows Update (this is a bug in 7).
    You can then uninstall Silverlight again if not required.

    No problem
    It's an annoying bug that happens sometimes after the "Give me updates for other MS products" box is unticked.
    The Silverlight installer always seems to fix it.

    Must be a Office 2010 bug I've never had that listing missing after installing office 2007.

    I also have 2007 and it's happened to me before, the only way to fix it was reinstalling Silverlight.
    I've never installed Office 2010 though so it's definitely a bug in Windows or the actual plugin.
