    CheckSUR error, files missing, most ATI files.


    I didn't include CBS.log because it's 485mb!!!

    Hi Fsc,
    did you downgrade from W8?,
    those errors go back a couple of years.
    please fill out your system specs, and run/paste the results of this tool

    No downgrade from windows 8, no.

    If I remember correctly I've myself removed some of those files - ati related - because problems with drivers. Could you make a file with the missing ones?

    lets try the easy way first
    from an elevated command mode

    wusa /uninstall /kb:2972211
    wusa /uninstall /kb:2931356

    REBOOT

    then download them directly from MS

    The massive CBS log file would point to further problems, please follow my instructions in previous post

    when doing the second command it gives: Error 0x80073712 component store has been corrupt.

    Hello Roy, there's is a 150mb cbs.log file (3x sfc run) in RAR format.

    can you run this MS fixit
    Troubleshoot problems with installing updates - Windows Help

    Then install KB947821, could take a while to run if it downloads.
