    Convenience Rollup Breaks SFC

    Hello

    I have a fresh copy of Windows SV SP1 x64 Windows 7.
I have integrated Convenience Rollup. First the stack update KB3020369
    afterwards the rollup KB3125574.

I used Ntlite tool for the intergratetion into the WIM. I'm familiar with DISM integration
    but i prefer Ntlite.

SFC fails with the message "damaged files found and repaired" I translated from Swedish.
I tried to re-do the integration many times but it fails everytime. The OS is totally fresh SFC
is the first thing i do.

I have tested only with a fresh SP1 copy and SFC don't fail after installation. I also made my own version with SP1 and 303 MSU updates included and it dont fail SFC

The CBS logfile is big 170 MB. Do you guys get the same result as me?

    Hi Frudda,
    Thanks for the info.
Thats a huge file for a first install, you could run SURT, see what that says.
Download System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) [October 2014] from Official Microsoft Download Center

I have researched and find this update KB3068708 included in Convenience Rollup.
    That update breaks SFC

    Source:
    Updates KB3022345, KB3068708 breaks clean sfc /scannow - Windows 7
sfc finds problems it cannot repair. - Microsoft Community

Source that the update is included

I cannot confirm this to 100% yet but i have to check my CBS log for further proof

I integrated the two updates with DISM and did a clean install. I duplicated the issue, but in my case the usbhub.sys.mui file doesn't actually get repaired. A verifyonly run after the scannow run reports the file is still corrupt. Also, my cbs.log is only ~2MB after the two sfc runs.

I have now tested a fresh copy of Windows 7 X64 SP1 (official ISO)
Installed the version and booted. And from Windows installed stack KB3020369 and afterwards roll up KB3125574.
Its confirmed broken same error message: "damaged files found and repaired"

Microsoft have to release a fix for this
