Accidental Pending Windows 10 Installation. How do I cancel this.

So I let my computer install updates automatically which was a mistake to greet me with a random restart on my pc where it said, "Initializing Windows 10 Update, Please Do Not Turn Off The Computer." Obviously I didn't want Windows 10 so I turned off the computer. Now in my Windows Update it has a pending update for Windows 10 Upgrade and won't let me cancel it. I'm just scared my PC with shut off and it will install a whole new OS that I do not want. Please help with this ASAP as I can't turn my PC off until it is The main thing I need is to just cancel the pending Windows 10 installation.

    Thanks :)

I would immediately Download GWX Control Panel from Ultimate Outsider - Software Downloads

GWX Control Panel This is a free tool that can remove and disable the 'Get Windows 10' notification area icon on Windows 7 and Windows 8. Recent versions can also disable 'Upgrade to Windows 10' behavior in the Windows Update control panel and do much more. See the user guide at the Ultimate Outsider blog. You can still download GWX Control Panel as a standalone executable if you don't like installers. Please see the "GWX Control Panel Release Notes and Version History" post at the blog for MD5 and SHA-1 checksums of all official releases.

Yes, install GWX Control Panel! It is the W10 vaccine. It will prevent W10 like Jenner's vaccine prevented smallpox.
