    Hi All.

    Thank you again for the helpful responses and the insight given. It has shown how naive I am when it comes to these matters I guess.

    The person concerned will be purchasing a copy of Win 10 installation media for installation.

I've installed WIndows 7 Ultimate with an activation key on a PC. If for whatever reason I need to re-format and reinstall it -- will I get an error about the key already being used? Couldn't find any details on this on the MS site. Thanks.
