Sorry to tell you this but I think that computer was activated illegally, Searching for your key on Google has over 10,000 results (should be zero) even searching SevenForums for V9488-FGM44-2C9T3 turns up 79 results.

I also believe the installation of Windows 7 on the computer is counterfeit.

    The bios is dated.
    <Date>20080423000000.000000+000</Date></BIOS>
and your install is a OEM/SLP

Windows License Type: OEM SLP Windows OS version: 6.1.7601.2.00010100.1.0.001 ID: {E56287DC-A99C-4EFD-B86C-9484A3EC0421}(1)
Windows 7 OEM/SLP from the manufacture didn't come out until 2009.

    Solving this problem is simple.
Just buy a proper Windows 7 of your choice and do a Clean Install.
It will come with a proper matching COA key.

If you need help with a Clean Install just take a read this tutorial by Brink.

    For what?

It's illegally activated. You'll need to purchase a legal copy of Windows to install.

Layback bear already explained why you don't have a legal install.

Your BIOS date tells all we need to know, it is from before W7 was released.

If you had a legal HP OEM install it would be dated at least July 2009.

    Yours is from 2008,

    Code:
    <Date>20080423000000.000000+000</Date></BIOS>

But that key is only good for systems that were shipped with seven.

    I will quote our expert...

That MSE video means nothing, I've installed MSE on virtual machines that were never activated

It should be all over the internet, it's HP's OEM key they use to mass install.
