Simplix is a single file (750MB) that contain all updates since Win 7 released up to date. It has all security and non security updates without the trash (telemetry and tracking). Very good.

I notice that this is a Russian site. Have there been any issues with downloads from there?

Well, presumably, it's safe, but one always wonders about Russian sites. BTW, I tried downloading from the link in thread, but 4 hours was the DL time. It downloaded in 3 mins from here:

Yes it does. I've downloaded both the update and the patch. Thanks to both you and SIW2 for posting those, and also the listing in your OP. I haven't decided which method to use yet. I'll likely download those you list from the MS catalog as well, and get whatever hardware I decide on. Then it's just a matter of setting aside time to build and install.

Would I be correct in thinking that, while the update pack is convenient for installing updates on an installed win 7, the separate files are useful also for integration into an install disk? Is there a link for a good primer for doing so?

You can do it yourself e.g.

UpdatePack7R2-19.11.18.exe /ie11 /WimFile="path_to_Install.wim" /Index=3

Thanks. For clarification, isn't 19.11.18.exe a patch for 19.11.15? How would that work?
