Can't update Silverlight from Windows update (KB3162593)

I am trying and each time it fails...it tries to create a restore point (too much time) and it finally gives me error 643, any ideas how to solve it?

    Thank you in advance!

I wouldn`t even try to update it, that update caused system file corruption. I would just hide it. If all your web pages open fine, you don`t need the update.

Thank you for your answer but what about installing the update... I mean it is the first time (I have Windows 7 for 6 years) that I can't update a thing... And to be honest first time I hear an update of Microsoft causes system file corruption. Why are they not taking back the update if it is bad?

Thank you very much in advance!

    Hi Balema,
Your comment i cant update a thing.
    Is more of a problem
Lets have a look at the results from this tool
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=52012

And one days worth of info from your windowsupdate log.

MS have issued quite a few bad updates.
In regard to Silverlight i have actually rolled it back, kept causing me problems
