iata_enu says my computer doesn't meet its minimum requirements.

As far as I can tell, no issues uninstalling that KB.

What ISO download? Also I assume you mean the WindowsUpdateDiagnostic.diagcab troubleshooter, right?

    Hi Zarkith,

Hmmm that doesn't meet minimum requirements is a bit odd, advised quite a few to update there, you did click on the LAST link?
(is the roll back option available)

    great for the uninstall.

ISO is to get you a clean copy of W7 for future use, re your lost discs

All of the troubleshooters that relate to updates, reset them back to the defaults, (automatically D/L - Install).

I clicked on the iata_enu.exe link at the bottom left of the page, right above older versions. As odd of an error message as it was, I can see it somewhat making sense, as I don't recall ever installing Intel RST, or it ever being installed for me. Certainly doesn't show up in the list of installed programs.
Is it even a program? Is it just a driver? :/

Looking at my services, I can see there's an "Intel RAID Controller Windows 7" driver named iaStorV, which is currently stopped with its start type is set to Demand Start. Not sure if that's the RST driver or a different one though.

I haven't noticed any troubleshooters resetting my Windows Update settings. They're the same right now as they were 5+ months ago. ("Check for updates but let me choose whether to download or install them")

EDIT: So I'm looking through the readme on the RST page, and it looks like the version you linked doesn't support i7 processors. It's only for vPro, Celeron, and Pentium. I also see no mention of iaStorV.sys, though it does seem to include an iaStorA.sys and iaStorF.sys, neither of which are present on my system.
(in both the version you linked and the latest version)

Thanks Thrash, that's exactly what I need!

I've given up and am just going to do a clean install. Should I mark this thread as solved, even though it technically isn't?
