Updating to Windows 10 error C1900101-40017

Every time i try to update the following error comes up after it has failed and reverted to Windows 7: C1900101-40017
This time I wasn't able to see it, but last time I got this BSOD:

Please help as there is not much time left to upgrade.

windows not updating due to error
Hello for the past couple of days i have been having trouble updating BOTH my Pc and my laptop. Well the PC updated but the laptop still has this error. I have attached the pic with the error code. I appreciate any and all assistance in this matter. Thanks,

It's error code 8024801C. When I tried to update, that's what came up. Can someone identify this code?
