Windows update error x80073712 - Missing manifests in CheckSUR.log

    Hello everyone,

This week I started updating my win7 to win10 as the free period is almost there.
I had a couple of updates not done yet, so I ran windows update before the win10 update.

Almost everything updated except one package (an update for IE11) that fails with an error x80073712.

If I run directly the win 10 upgrade, I get an error 0x80070004. Probably for the same root reason, corrupted updates.

I've checked the different solutions to fix this and found the "sfc /scannow" command and how to run the CheckSUR.exe.

I already fixed most of the issues that came out (all related to corrupted update files) but the log now shows errors with the manifests and I don't know how to fix them.

Here is the output of the Log file:

    Hi Helter,
The reported errors are on the W10 update, its self.
If you want W10, follow this link.

Thank you very much for your answer.
This means I have no other choice that to backup/format/reinstall ?

Ok, I must say the fresh install to win 10 without update is already a big time saver :)

Just for my personal knowledge, do you have any idea what could have corrupted the update data in such a "no return" way ?
