    Windows Update errors 8007370B, 80070002 trying to start W10 upgrade


    Original symptom was error code 8007370B returned by search for updates.
    Before discovering this forum, per KB947821, ran SURT.
    Error code changed to 80070002.
    Per KB910336, stopped Windows Update service and deleted temporary installation files, restarted Windows Update service. Ran SURT again.
    Error code still 80070002.
    Ran SFC /SCANNOW, result was "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation".
    SFC log enclosed.
    Most grateful for any help.

I was getting errors 800B0100 with 10 Windows Updates. It keeps trying to install them every time the PC is shut down. Upon running CheckSUR (with KB3045999, KB3046306, KB3046482, KB2952664 and KB2990214 downloads from MS saved to the C:\Windows\CheckSur\Packages folder), I now get errors...
