The SFC scan shows no problems now - so hopefully your problems are now solved

If you run another SFC now, does it still report 'unable to fix?' if so please post the full content of the CBS folder - you'll probably have to upload it to a fileshare site (preferably either Dropbox or OneDrive) and post a link

Yeah, which is weird, since it looks fine to me?

    Code:
Beginning verification phase of system scan.
    Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example
    C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
Either way the update installed successfully now so

The only thing I can think that may be causing that is some of the warnings that are present in the background of the CBS.log file regarding invalid manifest items.
Since CheckSUR hasn't actually found any problems I suspect that this is something we can ignore - but feel free to come back if any other problems rear their heads!

    Good luck!

Yeah be reyt for now I think, the update went fine after that last file load. Fully up to date now! :)

Thanks for all your help. Finding those files would have been a bugger otherwise. Cheers mate.
