    SP1 Failed install - Win 7 Professional

I recently switched from Windows 7 to Win 7 Professional, and have been trying to install SP1, with no luck. I've gone through google, but none of the fixes available applied to my exact situation. I didn't change the OS myself, but I believe the person who did may have cancelled the SP1 installation half-way through, which I hear is a bad thing.

Format and reinstall the entire system. When it comers to the time, disable any antivirus for the duration of the SP1 installation just in case.
It may be easier to create a complete Windows 7 Pro w/SP1 installation disc by following this: Slipstream Windows 7 SP1 into a Installation DVD or ISO File

Hoping I wouldn't have to, but did in fact reinstall. Everything's working fine.
