    Hi,
I'm guessing you did not see a OA MEA listing with the app ?

I have no idea what an OE MEA license is.

I don't remember reading about that before, and i can't find any OE MEA license info.
Is this a new laptop, refurbished, special order, etc., ?

Maybe we need to get NoelDP to help with this.

    As i understand it
    - You want to install original windows.
    - You lost your Recovery Partition, so you can not create Recovery Media now.
    - You never created the Recovery Media before.
    - You don't have a System Image Backup you can restore.
    - HP charges too much to order Recovery media

You've got a weird situation with your laptop - Home Basic/Country/Language/Bit version
None of us can find the ISO download for what you have now - Home Basic/English/64-Bit

You may need to contact HP and see whatever they can do to help you,
or purchase a new Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit license,
or use Home Basic 32 Bit.

Unfortunately that's how many of us learn why to have backups, and it can be a costly lesson.

Have you downloaded the Ultimate English 64 Bit ISO, unlocked it, and see if Home Basic is in there ?

This might be of help. The OA MEA, as shown on the OP's activation sticker is for factory installed OS & in this case it is for HP, as the OP's computer is a HP, according to their system specs.

This HP website might be helpful.

Did you create an unlocked universal installer from a Win 7 Ultimate ISO ?

I found an Eight Forums thread that looks like it shows Home Basic/English/64 Bit is available in an unlocked Win 7 ISO.
Take a look at the Win 7 screen print in this Eight Forums thread:

Home Basic and Home Premium are both in it. This will tell you how. Windows 7 Universal Installation Disc - Create The ei.cfg removal tool will unlock all versions. It's really simple to do either all X86 or all X64. It gets a little harder for both on one disk/USB.
