I'm confused on this update - kb3172605
I just updated a Win7 Pro x64 OS and all the important updates installed without problems.
I see Optional Update kb3172605 published today, offered to me, and it's for July 2016 update rollup.
Here is the link i get clicking on More info for this is Windows Update:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3172605
I keep my systems current, so i don't understand why i'm being offered a July Rollup update in September.
Is it just me, or is anyone else seeing this ?

One other "oddity" i saw today with Win 7 updates,
It seemed real slow to me checking for and installing updates compared to my last few months experience.
I then saw the MRT (Malicious Software Removal) was installing/running, and the Windows Update window displayed Checking for Updates and Creating a restore point.
After the MRT finished it's thing, everything else worked fine.
This is just an fyi, and something different for me.

I also have restore points turned off, imho that check should only take a second or two, and display update status correctly.
I've just never seen it run MRT as the first update before, and show "misleading" (slow) info in the Update window.
