Internet Explorer 11 wont install

    Internet Explorer 11 wont install


    I'm trying to update to Windows Internet Explorer 11. I've downloaded it but it wont install. Error code 9C59 windows update dt000. Windows Update tells me I need no other updates.

    Thanks thrashzone but I can't look at that because I have no IE11.
    georgeks I'm afraid I don't understand that, e.g what does "from an elevated Command Windows" mean?

    Hi,
    Not sure what you mean ie11 installed is not a requirement :)
    But the top quoted updates are a requirement to being able to install ie11
    Looks like the quoting got a tad scrambled to say the least :)

    Thanks for those links. Unfortunately when I click on them I get "Your browser is not supported. Please update your browser."

    Well you could download another browser such as Firefox.... to get around that

    The interesting part of the errror message is dt000, relates to a permissions problem.

    can you run this tool copy/paste the output
