    Update KB3172605 won't install


    I've followed this topic about the Windows Update issue (Searching forever):
    Windows Update will not update and I've tried multiple fixes

    Update KB3020369 installed fine, but when I try to install the KB3172605 update, the standalone update installer keeps "Searching for updates on this computer" forever.

    So the fix to the problem has the same problem?
    What else can I do?

    Update: After a few reboots it worked, so this thread can be deleted :)

So basically my Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit wont update. I was following the guide to fix it and i manage to install KB3020369 manually but when i try to update KB3172605 it says that it is unapplicable on my computer. What am i doing wrong?
