    This computer is not running genuine windows?


    Everytime I open up notepad or control panel it says this computer is not running genuine windows how do I fix this?

    Can anyone please help me with this popup?

    I downloaded Microsoft Genuine Advanced Diagnostics Tool and and I did a scan and this is what came up.

    Hi Christen,
    I take it you have re-installed the OS,
    Where did you get the media.

    It appears to have borked the auto activation and Slic table.

    You MIGHT be able to restore it, if there is a Bios update available from HP.
