Unable To Install Certain Windows Updates

Some Windows Updates are not installing properly. During the installation of new updates, a box like this will appear:

If I click cancel, the installation will fail. If I click OK then this window pops up:

I have no idea what may be causing this or when/where it might have originated from. Any ideas on what might be going on here?

Thank you for assistance. I downloaded the FIX tool and it generated this error:

    UPDATE
I was able to follow the manual instructions for that FIX. The Windows Updates in question appear to have successfully installed. Unfortunately, I just started up Super Meat Boy from Steam and this similar error appeared:

You seem to be having a problem with MS Visual C++, for that error to appear.

Has your machine been infected recently, or is this a re-install.

Are you also having problems with normal windows updates.

You were correct again. I had trouble installing it until I used WinRAR to extract its contents and then ran that Setup.exe directly. Installed perfectly and I haven't seen any more errors like this. Windows Updates have been installing without issue. I've ran a couple different virus/malware scanners and my system is clean. Just glad to have everything working again. Thank you very much for your help and time .
