Do I need to install recommended updates?

Post a list or screen shot of what is showing up
We all have our avoid lists for various reasons :)

Personally I leave them alone because otherwise it means hours of searching what the updates are for (I have better things to do with my time) and one has to wonder why are they "recommended"

About all I can say is exclude the ones I posted from your list and load the rest :)
If you use remote desktop features load those too I do not so I did not install them,
