Can I safely remove KB3112343 and KB3138612 with chkdsk running ?

    Can I safely remove KB3112343 and KB3138612 with chkdsk running ?


    Seems I read they are related to Win 10, I have " Never 10" installed but may have added it after these were installed.

    Yep, you beat me to it.

    Also, the free Win10 offer and GWX ended nearly 2 months ago.
    There's even an optional update for W7 to remove the MS GWX software.
    (Darn, I cannot find the link at the moment...)

    So, there's no need any longer for any of those 3rd-party Win10 blockers.

    I went searching and found the 'removal tool' if you will, already resident on the HD. So I guess I don't have to do anything. I just don't share the trust of MS that others do, plus I hate a company that 'knows what's best for you.'

    I'll let everything alone.
