    Optional Updates queries?

    Hi,
Are the 2 November Preview updates in optional required?

    Thanks!

Optional updates are just that, optional (not required).

What do you mean by "November Preview updates"?

    Hi,
I wouldn't get into a habit of hiding updates but just right click the update in question and hide will be shown,
I simply don't install any I do not want to install :)

Right click on the update and click on hide.

Optional updates are not needed for security and usually are not needed for anything else. Some, especially generic drivers for hardware, may actually cause problems.

In this case, the two recent optional updates (the ones I hid) are shown as being previews of December updates but are actually more like beta versions. MS doesn't pay me enough to test their updates.

So, you hid only 2 of these Nov. Preview updates?

    Thanks.:)
