    After 4 years Windows 7 is now not genuine?


    I'm at a loss, my laptop desktop screen is now black and in the lower right corner it states that my Windows 7 is not genuine, Build 7601. I have tried searching online for help but nothing seems to work. below is a copy of the diagnostic report. Thanks, Tom

    Hi Tom,
    That install is NON-Genuine.
    The product key in use has been "lifted" from the COA sticker on another W7 computer.
    The Bios for yours is dated 2 years prior to the official OEM release of W7, (the product type code key in use on your comp)

    I suspect this was caused by you installing IRST drivers which broke the activation work around.
