I'll clean reinstall later, as mentioned earlier, to not get any issues as I did.

    Thanks.

    Edit:

Cancelled updates and than being present without installing is strange....

    Hi,
If a update shows up after manually installing it later just use option 3 here to reset the history...

    Hi,
Here is the sfc update that I was referring to earlier
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3181988

After you install Convenience rollup update for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 (KB3125574), every System File Checker (SFC) integrity scan reports and fixes an error regarding the following file:%windir%\system32\drivers\en-US\usbhub.sys.mui
    Cause

This issue occurs because the usbhub.sys.mui file is referenced and linked in two winsxs components:

    • usb.inf.resources
    • usbport.inf.resources

In update rollup KB3125574, the usbport.inf.resources component is included, but the usb.inf.resources component isn't included. The usbhub.sys.mui file encounters a problem in SFC integrity scans because it's part of both the usb.inf.resources and the usbport.inf.resources components.

    Hi,

Which update are you referring to.....none showed up after a manual install?

Those that show cancelled, weren't installed by me.

The only, KB3149090, which failed to install, downloaded and installed it as a standalone and on reboot update check didn't show it.

    Thanks.

Thanks Mentor for remembering and taking out the time to post.

At which step should I install it, (using the 3 manual update method), as a standalone, after activation, or at the end after updating is over......

    Thanks again.:)

    Hi
It might or looks like it only should apply if KB3125574 is used to me
I installed although I was not having any sfc errors
It should come to you through the update system.

    Hi,

    After installing these 3.

    1. KB3020369.

    2. KB3125574.

    3. KB3172605.

and activation, run sfc, if I get an error install KB3181988.

    OR

after installing all 40-50 important updates, run sfc get an error, at that point?

    Care to clarify Genius.....

    Thanks again.:)

Hypothetically, like the last time it didn't come through a update system, than?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
I'd manually install it then if you use the mentioned 3 step method.
Last I would imagine would be appropriate :)
