Special Procedures For Win 7 Pro Updates?

From a Windows 7 Pro posting in another forum (lost to me now), I was told there's a special procedure that's used to get MS security updates for Win 7 Pro...

Is this true? If so, what are they?

I upgraded to Windows 7 Pro just a few weeks ago, and want to get those updates!

Hello Bustr mate not that I am aware of and I run 7 Pro and Home plus 10 on my machines. I do find the updates hideously slow sometimes and from time to time they will not download - I find it is just matter of being persistent.
