Offerings for 32 bit installs on 64 bit machine

Can I safely ignore offerings for 32 bit installs during Windows Update on my Samsung W7 64 bit desktop ?

In reality MS wont install the wrong type of drivers.

Some programs/drivers on your system can be 32 bit, and WILL be offered

So carry on, let them install

It`s normal.

But you should be checking what each and every update is for before you install it, highlite the update then click More Information over on the right to get a relatively vague description.
