    Hi,
    As far as I've seen sp1 :)
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3033929
Known issues with this security update

    Issue 1

Some users cannot install this security update if their computers meet the following conditions:
    • Have a multiple-boot configuration of Windows and various distributions of Linux
    • Use a non-Windows boot loader
    • Have Windows and Linux installed on separate drives

We have been able to verify that systems that have the Windows boot loader enabled as the primary loader are successfully able to install this update and that systems that have a non-Windows boot loader specified as the primary boot loader cannot install the update, even if the user uses that loader to select Windows.

    Issue 1 workaround

To work around that issue, you can either use Windows as the default boot loader or you can change your BIOS settings to enable the Windows boot loader directly when you install this update.

Hi I show it installed on 12-01-2015 not sure if that is when it was released or not though this is a relatively new install I'm on now
What's the real deal with your inquiry ?
Have you clean installed or something and trying to minimize installing updates ?

    Microsoft Security Advisory 3033929

How is this update (3033929) related to the 3035131 update discussed in MS15-025?
This update (3033929) shares affected binaries with the 3035131 update being released simultaneously via MS15-025. This overlap necessitates that one update supersede the other and, in this case, advisory update 3033929 supersedes update 3035131. Customers with automatic updating enabled should experience no unusual installation behavior; both updates should install automatically and both should appear in the list of installed updates. However, for customers who download and install updates manually, the order in which the updates are installed will determine the observed behavior as follows:
Scenario 1 (preferred): Customer first installs update 3035131 and then installs advisory update 3033929.
Result: Both updates should install normally and both updates should appear in the list of installed updates.

Scenario 2: Customer first installs advisory update 3033929 and then attempts to install update 3035131.
Result: The installer notifies the user that the 3035131 update is already installed on the system; and the 3035131 update is NOT added to the list of installed updates.

Currently I have not installed any updates, I want to download "Logitech Gaming Software" which requires security update "KB3033929" and so I was wondering if I can install KB3033929 on my Windows with no other updates, does KB3033929 require anything to be installed/updated?

    Hi,
Well that is why most of use free system imaging to easily undo any bad windows updates :)
Create Backup Image with Macrium Reflect by Britec - YouTube

Otherwise there is no good reason not to install at the least all security updates which if you follow the previous link to the rollup that is where you will be
Then afterwards just monitor the News section for the security only monthly releases and load them too here's the December one,
    KB3207752 and KB3205394 Update for Windows 7 SP1
