Thanks Roy,
I run the tool and am posting the results.
2 weeks back it did install Win Defender update, after checking and displaying new update was available, but since 2 days it isn't scanning daily and now displaying an error on a manual check.
Hoping to hear your expert views!
Best regards!
Hi,
Which antivirus program are you using ?
If a third party windows defender should be disabled and making the wd updates not even show up.
Hi hope you are good,
I just restored the last back up and still the same.
Windows Defender is OFF.
I'm using MBAM.
Hoping to hear from you as always,
Thanks!
Hi Alexey,
Yes i see its a re-install, its currently activated but not registered
please run KB971033, that will clear the file mismatches
Your version of Office may be causing the problem, it appears NOT to be going a server which it should be as its in the VLK range, this is triggering the 80004005 error and stopping updates.
(note the product ID for it is in a known range of Keygen installs which ARE blocked)
You might want to consider removing it
As Thrash mentioned MBAM is not a true AV, please get one.
I see its a really old rig, Bios dated 2006 might be a newer one available.
Roy
Hi Roy,
Thanks for pointing all, but it's activated?
Have a look........
NEVER said it wasnt activated,
i said REGISTERED.
said so in first line of my reply

Hi,
You know very well the manual updates protocol :)
Seems an easy thing to do here's the 32 bit version of KB971033 here
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=150841
If you show failed updates just do Brink's option 3 updates reset
