Where exactly are you seeing that phrasing?

Check whether SP1 is installed this way...

    Click on Start
    Right-click on Computer
    Select Properties

What does it say in the top section of the page that comes up?

It used to show that SP1 successfully installed in my windows update history.

But I followed one of this site comment @ (C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\) Deleted all contents within this folder..after stopping the windows update and restarting it.. I get nothing in updates history anymore or installed updates (nothing) And again
It's stuck @ checking for updates blabla >.>

Looks like SP1 does not exist in my pc and the windows update is stuck at the checking mood (for hours)
Shouldn't I download SP1 from the internet and get everything solved by that?? I rly need SP1
I cant install some programs without that service..

    Hi Mitten,
Without that folder - updates will never complete

not quite sure if there's an easy fix
A really OLD restore point prior to you deleting it, is your first option.

might be easier and quicker if i got you an SP1 install disk,
please run this tool, copy/paste the results.

If it comes back clean, i can get a link
    W7 Pro SP1,
note need the language and if you want 32 or 64 bit, licence is valid for both.
