Complex landscape of Windows 7 (32 bit) updates across many remote PCs

Excuse me if I'm barking up the wrong tree in this forum, but I'm trying to get my head wrapped around a complex issue I'm facing at work. The product we sell has a connected computer that is used to work with the instrument. Without getting into the weeds on how or why, I'll just say that now we have a product base that is out of date for Windows update by a significant range. Since the computers are at a wide variety of customer sites with a wide variety of network settings that range from completely connected with updates set to "download, but let me choose when to install" to network settings where they are either not connected, or have settings that have been set to "never check" for years.

Short story is, I've been asked to find a solution to get all of these computers updated, but I need a solution that works quickly so the customer doesn't have to wait through hours of updates, and one that could potentially be deployed offline.

Anyone have any suggestions or am I totally screwed here?

95% of the computers are the same hardware build, but some may have different levels of updates applied.

Landscape Wallpaper Experiment
I know landscapes are not necessarily a big topic for wallpapers here, but since that is what I'm into, this is my experiment: I don't like super-intrusive images as wallpaper, because they're, well, intrusive to my mental workings while I'm on the PC. Many landscapes because they are meant to...
