KB3008923 superseded by KB3021952 (Jan 2015) which appears to be "retired" in MU Catalog

Thanks. I was going to try uninstalling it and then see if it was re-offered but I'll just leave it for now.

    windows update

Hi Everyone, I was offered that update yesterday, and looked through all installed updates, and I did not

have it installed, and not thinking I installed it, and then realized it was one on my list not to install.

Having installed it though, it has not caused any problems.

Well, just out of curiosity, after installing KB3008923 (IE11 Cumulative Dec-2014) a few days ago, KB3003057 (IE11 Cumulative Nov-2014) appeared today in windows update. Seems the madness never ends.

    But what about these updates?

Microsoft will be aware and at some point stop offering themselves?
