KB4019112 & KB4019264 will not configure after installation

For the 2nd month in a row Windows Updates hang when configuring at re-start.
The installation goes well but when asked to restart the process of configuring the
update hangs at 30%. I have left this for over an hour. Switching off and reboot
allows me to revert from the new update. The problem does not seem to only affect me
but I haven’t seen a solution. Dell Optilex 755 Intel Core Duo E6550.

Try installing them individually. I had a problem with KB4019112 on one out of the four laptops I had to update. The problem one, HP dv6, Win 7 Home, had 73 uninstalled updates when I started. KB4019112 was the only one that failed to install.

When someone has ignored their updates for awhile and you do not have another PC to look at, it is good to load them based on KB number, release date and TechNet description. Some are fixes for previous updates which may not be installed. Some address software you do not use or have. I found that NET Framework 4.6.2 was not installed on the HP and that 4.6.2 was released in 2016 and replaced NET 4 and 4.1.

I have ignored KB4019112 and suspect there may be a problem with this release. So will wait. I mean, 69 updates installed and this one fails three times?
