    Hi NjeHapaPara,

There wont be a COA sticker on the machine for your licence.
You have a system builder version, the key will be on its packaging that came with the discs.

Did you run those commands in the screenshot??

The "licence store" i was referring to is part of your system, and everybody elses , essentially a little program.

Yes I followed all the instrucions and after i typed "REN tokens" part it said : A duplicate file name exists, or the file cannot be found.I finished the procedure and the tab that says "Activate windows online now,ask me later" opened.Tried the key didnt work...

    Hi NjeHapaPara,

can you try this link, if it wasnt the one youve tried

    http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/

youll see a spinning icon while its processing.

I can see no reason why its defaulting to the grace period.

The only other recourse is to phone MS,
    WAIT for an operator

Its possible that the key has been blocked due to multiple activations, if you bought it on-line its a distinct possibility, common practice nowadays, if thats the case demand a refund .

If MS tells you its legit, then id go for a clean install with the discs that came with key

Roy the link didnt work it just stayed blank all the time so i reloaded it a couple of times and then Validation Status page popped up,i donwloaded "legitcheck" and i opened it and its all blank,i reopened it some windows validation page popped up with a spinning icon and when it finished windows security essentials popped up.I have another antivirus so i dont need it.Also i should specify i bought a standalone disk from a shop and i have used it some times for my friends and self.

    HMMMMM

    lending you disc, is OK
i bought a standalone disk from a shop and i have used it some times for my friends and self.

    BUT
Hope you didnt give them the key as well -- what did i say about multiple activations your key can only be in use on one computer!!!

If you did then whoever had it last has possibly got the only valid install.

Did you use the phone option, its the only recourse now
