W7 home premium 32bit/W7HP 64bit/w10 tp insider ring

Hi delphicam,

The original install must have been a Dell computer then, thats what the product key relates to.

If it came with W7 you should have a COA sticker, use the back-up code on it.

Re-installs cannot use the factory set key.

Sadly, the COA sticker is only partially readable. Thanks for the info. Guess it's time to purchase a new license.

What I need: to reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate on the same PC, using the same hardware. There are many good reasons, so we'll just call it 'maintenance'. Previous experience: I have never reinstalled Win7 on the same computer / I have installed Win7 from scratch over XP twice / I have installed...

Win7 reinstallation -- activation
Hi. I'm about to move my current, legal Windows 7 Pro installation from a small, slow disk to a bigger and faster HD. This will most likely "trip" the WGA system when I restart. Is there something that I can do before switching disks that will make the process easier, e.g. transfer the activation...
