Old updates

Greetings.

Yesterday install the update kb4022168, but without wanting to also select the update kb4019288, the problem is that after this I appeared several old updates to install, kb3123479, kb2676562, kb3185319 and kb3118401, and my wife install them without realizing it.

My question is whether there would be any problem for having installed them.

If the computer is working perfectly then I doubt if those updates are causing any problems.

With the current world wide scare of ransomware attacks it is absolutely essential Windows is kept up to date. Sometimes an old update is improved & the new version still has the name KB number & that update gets installed again.

Thank you very much. What does it mention includes keeping the old dates ?, because that is why I get the doubt, since the date of the updates varies from 2014 to 2016.

MSE updates flagged in Win 7 updates but not XP Mode updates
I find it odd that when I do a Windows Update in Windows 7, the Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) updates are also found. But if I do a Windows Update in XP Mode, the MSE updates are not found. I don't suppose this is controllable? I'd like the Windows Update to find MSE updates.
