Do you have a Microsoft sticker for Ultimate on your desktop?

It looks like one of these.

    Hi Noob007,

The key in use is ONLY for a factory installed system.

As Layback Bear stated you SHOULD have a COA sticker, with a back-up key on it.
If you DO NOT have one attached, then it is NOT a genuine install.
(NO OEM install was issued without one)

MS is currently denying you the option to upgrade to SP1 because its not registered.

The report i asked you to run backs up the information i have provided.

There also appears to be an activation exploit installed, it may have been slipstreamed into the install media or added after it.

If you purchased the key/install media on the web i advise you to demand a refund.

    Roy

note SP1 was issued in 2010 any OEM would have included it from then

The solution to this problem is simple. Buy a legal copy of Windows 7 with a matching COA key.

Do a Clean Install which includes SP-1.
