    Hi Yctn,

    Unfortunately not.

Been looking at the CBS, never seen one like it
Its reporting a registry hive error,
That can be caused by a couple of things - You editing it, as youve allready mentioned and a partial install of an update.
The latter could easilly be caused on a Lite version of W7, as the required and expected component is missing from the install.

    can you run this tool

    http://www.sysnative.com/niemiro/apps/SFCFix.exe

It will show how much is missing

    Hi Yctn,

    those errors relate to Avast.
please uninstall it in SAFE mode.
Avast Uninstall Utility | Download aswClear for Avast Removal

    Try SP1, not hopefull.

Can you zip one of the CBS persistant logs please, if SP1 fails.

i ran that tool. rebooted to safe mode. ran it again. rebooted to windows again. ran the readiness again. but still the same errors are int he checkSUR.log.
but yesterday my system tryed to install windows 7 sp1 again. and now the error log was ALOT shorter. so i need to find a way to resolve those issues
im did a malware scan and that also found some stuff and removed that. now im gonna use ccleaner to check the registery.

    Hi Yctn,

I still need a copy of 1 of the persistant file CBS,
Its the only way we can trace whats caused the original corruption.
and so will the sysnative forum
