    Any idea what i can still do to try to fix this?

    Hi Yctn,
    can you post the log from here please
    c:\Windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log

    I have a feeling that an unsigned driver might be getting in the way.

    Have a look in device manager first
    any with ! or a small down arrow, or unknown device.

    Hi Roy,

    Tweaking.com - Windows Repair Free/Pro

    i ran that tool did all repairs and it repaired alot of windows and folders premissions. and other stuff.

    after that i tryed to install sp1 again and it worked. so im realy glad.
