    Failed update error code 80070103

NVIDIA failed update error 80070103. This was not the first time. update keeps trying to download this update which has failed in the past? Error 80070103 is an unknown error? Yet, update continues to attempt updating the modification. How do I remove this update from the download?

Hi bipot, welcome to the Forum.

To prevent this Update continuing to try & download you need to click on Check for Updates & when new Updates show, click on the Updates showing & then Right Click on that NVIDIA Update & select Hide.

If you still wish to install the NVIDIA update you need to go directly to the NVIDIA website & download the right driver for your version of NVIDIA.

I have often found that driver updates coming through Windows Updates for hardware other than Microsoft, can cause problems. So when an NVIDIA update is shown on Windows Updates I always Hide it, so it does not download & get installed.

To find info about your NVIDIA installation, Right Click on the Desktop & Select the NVIDIA Control Panel. When that opens cliick on the Help tab on the top menu & Select System Information. This should provide you with a lot of info about it for you, if you wish to download the right driver.

Driver updates can be removed from the WindowsUpdate check via

ControlPanel >> System >> Device Manager >> Hardware >> Device Installation settings ... NEVER
